Ack's Exotic Pets

Birds kept in very poor condition, hyacinth is constantly hormonal and at the bottom of her cage, Senegal is plucking, all setups are small and lack proper enrichment. Up in the front there was two pairs of tiels in a cage only big enough for one with 2 nesting boxes. Neither pair is very well bred genetic-wise but one hen in specific has a very overgrown beak and the wild type male is clearly being bullied, is covered in scabs, and even lacks his tail which was likely broken during said bullying. (Bullying was most likely caused due to the fact that 2 breeding pairs are kept in a cage much too small)

I’d rate 0 stars if I could. I purchased a green tree python here a month ago- I’m an experienced snake keeper and have always wanted to get one. She was being kept in a shockingly tiny, dirty, dry tank there but I bought her thinking she seemed fine. She ate a few times, her enclosure and setup with me was absolutely perfect (I have pictures for proof). She stopped eating a few days ago, became lethargic, and died all of a sudden 0 warning. I paid $400 for this snake. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. I’ve tried to get in contact with them but the phone number does not accept messages and they have no email or other way to contact me. I’m seriously considering legal action if I don’t receive compensation because this is truly unacceptable from a pet shop. I apologise for the upsetting phot

Such a great little pet store. The people there are so kind, caring, and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough. Be sure to say hi to Cassie, the big blue hyacinth macaw. She is such a sweetheart and loves the attention.

Great pet store, the best store in town for people who like non-traditional pet stores or "customizations". It may be less tidy than the big-name stores, but I bought my two little parakeets here exactly a year ago because their wings were not clipped unlike those other stores, so they could fly around in their cage. I got a big cage from one of those big-name stores, but the birds from Ack's. When I left town for long vacations, I kept the birds here and the owners took good care of them at a very affordable price. Cannot recommend Ack's more!
