Academy of Animal Arts and Sciences

I just graduated from the Academy of Animal and I could not have had a more pleasant experience. Teri and Rick are kind incredible people, I felt welcome from the moment i stepped in for the tour to the moment I graduated. Teri is an amazing groomer with tons of experience and learning from her was truly a blessing. They really set you up for success, teaching you the fundamentals of grooming, how to use the tools, and giving you dogs to work on every day with Teri guiding you through the process and letting you learn and grow at your own pace. I am so very grateful for everything they’ve done for me, I was able to graduate from the academy and get multiple job offers in the grooming field.

I’m a student in a 16-week professional grooming course, and I’m currently in my fourth week. The first two weeks were spent learning knowledge in the classroom, and from the third week, we started hands-on practice with real dogs and during the week my knowledge is getting stronger as well. The instructors are amazing, and I really enjoy meeting my classmates. Every day is exciting because I wonder which dog I’ll get to work with! I groomed my dog with some skills from the school.

I graduated from the Professional Pet Groomer course at this school back in February of last year 🥰 Ms. Teri taught me everything I know and I'm very proud to say my education is from here. I now work full-time as a mobile groomer and each day I get to hone my skills and improve myself as I continue to learn and practice. Teri groomed my full coated collie 1/28 and did a fabulous job. Better than his monthly groomer in PA! So good, I made a follow up grooming appointment at the end of February before we head home to PA.

Today is a proud day and huge accomplishment in the beginning phase of my grooming career . I graduated the end of September 2024 and today is May 2,2025. The school will give you a great foundation for where ever you want to take your grooming career. I am extremely appreciative of all of Teri’s guidance while during my schooling and there on after!
