I called around 5am yesterday 1/3/2026 full of tears and barely could make out the words to ask the questions before traveling here. The minute I told the woman who answered the phone where I lived and the issue she advised me calmly and softly, she did not want me to make that 35-45 min drive with my fur kid breathing the way she was in case it got worse. I knew what she meant, she meant in case she didn’t make it. She advised me that there as an ER Vet in my city, and thru the tears I cried but they have terrible ratings. She again calmly said you can bring her here but I really think you need to go someone where close and now. I reluctantly said okay, sobbing and called them. Rex my cat was very ill, kidney blockage. I was so worried about leaving his care to ppl I have to trust his life too. 3 nights, all I can say is the Drs and staffs took such good care of him. I appreciate the Drs talking to me and explaining his dx and next steps. Also the staff calling/ texting me giving me an update how he was doing with pictures made me so happy. I was so comforted with the pics they sent and was able to sleep until the next morning when I had to pick him up. Rex is doing well. I was told Rex was such a loverboy (that's my Rex)! Rex says many thx for taking care of him to bring him back home to his family. Thank you for your service and compassion! This emergency vet SAVED OUR PUPPY'S LIFE. Our 10-week-old golden retriever chewed a toxic plant in our yard, and we had no idea what it was. She became unconscious and appeared to be having seizures. We rushed her here, and they took action immediately. The staff was incredibly compassionate and understanding of our financial situation, while still providing the absolute best care for our baby. They kept us informed every step of the way, including clear cost breakdowns. After an overnight stay, our little girl is now alive, healthy, and home. We are endlessly grateful to this facility and their amazing team. Arrived at AA Animal ER @ 6am on 11/4 with my beautiful Tuxedo cat Gracie Apple Juice. Unfortunately she didn't make it but the Dr. And ER Assistant were amazing and very kind. Thank you so much for your kindness ❤️

Terrible place to take your dog in the event of an emergency. I could literally feel the predatory rehearsed formula that they use - first compassion and empathize, then sudden sense of urgency and pressure to drop 6k, then some guilting, and then finally realizing I don’t have money so then the story changed and it wasn’t as urgent anymore. Additionally, they told me my dog couldn’t get blood without sedation and she was aggressive. She went to the vet the day before this, and one technician alone was able to get her blood. She also went to another emergency vet after this place, and they were able to get her blood without sedation easily. My conclusion to that: your dog isn’t treated very nicely here. You’re separated from your dog immediately and can’t see what’s happening. Anyways, ta
