I LOVE this place. As a former vet tech, let me just state for the record how refreshing it is to find a rescue that allows cats of all shapes and sizes to interact. The kittens learn from the adults how to be properly socialized and well-behaved cats, and the kittens teach each other how to play nicely! Cats aren't loners. It's a common misconception that I could go on about for pages of text, but suffice it to say that domestic cats form colonies and social structures when left to their own devices. Letting them interact helps them develop social skills (such as bite inhibition!) which will serve them well in their new homes. I cannot stress enough how good this is for everybody involved. A wonderful place to get a well adjusted kitten from. I love the fact that the kittens and cats are free to roam in the living room atmosphere. When people show up to look at kitties, it's like company coming. The kittens become socialized and are relaxed around strangers and more accepting of new situations. I renamed my kitty from Hershey to Mia (pronounced Mee-ah) she took only a few days to run the show at my house and win the hearts of my dog Sasha (border collie) and my cat Vigil ( my son also got Vigil from a Purr-fect fit before he died). In one photo you can see that in under a week, all three are lying on the floor together, Mia is on the red blanket. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for a kitten or cat.

They are very good at pairing cats and people. All cats are well cared for. I adopted a 2 year old Willow, she is very sociable and we get along great.

Amazing adoption facility. Staff is so friendly and atmosphere is inviting. What could be better than sitting on a couch and loving lots of cats and kittens!

Very friendly people, you can tell they really care for all the cats in the center. They only had a few cats up for adoption, however those cats vary from young kittens to old adults, so a good selection. I went in with the intention to adopt, however you do have to be 21 (unfortunate but it's for the safety and security of the cats). I would though, have liked to see more cats up for adoption. Give them a visit!
