A Plus Pet Grooming at Bark Avenue

A Plus Pet Grooming was amazing! They were extremely friendly and took care of my Bernadoodle, Maple, very well. It was Maple’s first time going to a groomer and I’m happy I chose A Plus!

Great customer service, willing to take new clients, and very good with my two dogs. They did a wonderful job and groomed my dogs exactly as I expected. They even called ahead of when the dogs were ready so I had time to get ready to pick them up.

Maria saved me! I don't live locally - visiting friends - and my pup needed a quick nail trim before a full day of travel. Time was uber tight and she took us as a walk-in with 5 mins notice (I did call ahead but I am sure an actual appointment is appreciated/more appropriate : ). She was quick, efficient, and very caring!

Terry has been grooming my dogs (several "generations" of them) for many years and I have always been pleased with her work. She is very accommodating to the special needs of each dog. For example, my Shih Tzus have had skin allergies and tend to chew their paws. At her suggestion, she trims their paws very closely, even though they do not always cooperate. She is very patient with older dogs and their problems and quirks, even when it means more work for her.

When I first got our standard poodle from a rescue, he was a mess. I took him to a well known groomer in San Carlos. I was told the would need to be completely shaved (this was in the summer) so the poor dog could have been burned by the outside. Basically I got the impression that they did not want to do the hard work of "restoring" my precious dog. Fortunately for us, we found Teri in redwood City, who specializes in poodle grooming. She said no problem, he didn't have to be shaved completely. She even offered to clean his teeth and gave me a bottle of a teeth cleaning product to get us started. DONT let the outside fool you.
