A Cut Above, the Falls

I had been taking my Maltese Yorkie to a cut above for the past four/five years. Kristen was always so kind and loving to my little guy, everyone was always good with him. I would always feel bad for taking my dog to the groomers because he was a barker but I always felt welcomed with my champa. In December of 2023 we had gone in for a regular appointment and was given a cute ornament with his fur in it. At the moment I loved it and thought that was such a nice gesture. Fast forward to 2025 we unexpectedly lost our little guy and are so thankful they did this. I checked my Christmas ornaments and sure enough I did save it. Our dog looks amazing and smells great. He went into the salon happy and came out happy. The cut looks great on him and his toe nails look awesome too. He seemed to be really happy with the whole experience.

We got to join A Cut Above during their March ribbon cutting at the newest Idaho Falls location, and we’ve had some of our own pets through as well as some of our client’s! They’ve done an awesome job every time and the owner seems to remember every interaction she has and everything each animal needs, no matter how long in between visits (it’s kind of uncanny). The location’s been handy since we can drop our pets off at this Idaho location on the way to the airport and the company will deliver them to the boarding place themselves They’ve got several local awards and it’s pretty easy to see why. The owner also loves getting involved in the community and has been a part of several events our team has put on. Love having them in the community!

Second time using a cut above for my two dachshunds, both times they have done a fabulous job. I'm picky about the way our longhaired is trimmed but we have been so pleased with both groomers so far. My smooth has sensitive skin that always flakes after baths, however that hasn't been an issue with them, whatever they use works great. To top it off, it's clear they genuinely love dogs and it always makes me happy to see how gentle and thoughtful they are with their care. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing place, I took my dog Gunner in for the first time and the customer service was amazing, Gunner was scared when he went in, when I picked him up, he was happy and looked amazing. We have been back every 8 weeks. Gunner now looks forward to seeing the ladies in the shop and always comes out happy and looking amazing. I highly recommend this groomer for your pets.
