I am so grateful for the staff at Cat’s place, I left my cat Cliff, with my grandmother when moving a few years ago so she had a companion at the house, we found a lump under his jaw and was told to euthanize him immediately due to his age (18) and no one could see him for weeks, frantic I called the lovely staff and they got him in immediately and helped us identify what was going on and make him comfortable in his last few weeks, I will forever be grateful for how they communicated everything to and took such good care of them both. As someone who works in the veterinary field, they have such an amazing staff and they are so compassionate. I would leave 100 stars if I could and the next kitty we get will definitely be a patient of theirs. Thank you Cat’s place for taking such good care o

Ryland, Mr Bean, Jack and Colby. Updated shots. Very friendly staff. Doctor has over 30 years of experience. After loosing Ryland the staff were very comforting and respectful to my wife and I. I highly recommend bringing your cats and kittens here.

Brought my cat in cause of throwing up more, made me feel horrible about not bringing my over anxious cat to the vet more who has anxiety about everything. During visit doctor almost forgot to give shots, assistant had to remind her...was told she sounds like she has a heart murmer; nothing to worry about. Literally a week later rushed her to emergency vet where they said she was in heart failure and just passed away ..... If they had done a test on her heart they woulda seen it and she might still be here. I had a bad vibe about the place and wouldn't wish that place on any pet....they dont truly care about the fur babies...I do have to admit the one tech and reception girl there were super sweet and I feel bad they work there...flannery emergency hospital in Newburgh will always be my

We are so grateful for the Vet and entire staff at A Cat's Place. Our cat was suffering from a tumor that was leaking for 6 weeks, after months of treatment elsewhere, we were able to finally get to your office. In hindsight we wish we went sooner. The office is inviting, the staff pleasant and very thorough. After examination, prognosis confirmed in a very compassionate manner. Thank you for giving our pet the most loving and careful treatment for a gentle and peaceful passing. When we get another cat in the future, we will be bringing them to you from the start.

I had nothing but fantastic experiences bringing my cat to A Cat's Place. The staff are compassionate, caring, and responsive, and provided me with as many options as possible when my cat was sick. They are quick to follow-up with questions and offer information over the phone when possible, and the staff's passion for this work is clear in their care. If you are near the Fishkill area and searching for a new vet for your cat, I cannot recommend A Cat's Place enough!
