A Animal Clinic of Queens

I have two older dogs - they have always been with Dr. Thomas, never issues. Standard care only. The last year has multiple visits for both. Different medical issues, they are getting older. I can’t say enough about the staff and care. Always respectful, always attentive - last minute appointments have always been accommodated. I get that everyone has their own experience but after 15 years - I wouldn’t bring my dogs anywhere else! Thank you! Great team!

Unfortunately, a bad experience dealing with rude staff that does not know how to handle big dogs and manhandle them in ways that initiate their fight or flight. I would stay away from this clinic if you are a pitbull owner especially with one staff that has a Hispanic male who grabs them from the nape and aggressively harnesses them. They are not trained to handle dogs that are agitated or scared/nervous and are way too aggressive.

To say that this place is the most insensitive vet to your pet’s needs is an understatement. To them, its just a job. I had taken in a barely living stray that I had taken care of for 12 yrs. She had labored breathing and was deteriorating rapidly. I was told over the phone, shortly after opening that they had no spots available. I just happened to be driving by 5 min after that call enroute to another facility. The place was empty! I went in and explained the situation in depth. I by all means was willing to pay for her to be put to sleep. As per the receptionist, there was nothing available till later in the day. They showed ZERO compassion, sympathy or compromise. Mind you, there wasnt one person in the waiting area. They turned us away. I found a location on Lefferts wiling to see her

Review is for Dr Kwasnik, as that’s the only veterinarian I’ve been receiving services from at this clinic. He is not only an amazing professional, but also a caring and compassionate human being. I would not trust anyone else with my cats. When one of my cats was only a kitten, during a routine check-up Dr Kwasnik informed us he appears to be suffering from heart defects and that we should cherish the time we have with him, as it may not be long. As difficult as it was to hear, we were grateful, since it gave us time to prepare for the inevitable. The cat was seen by another vet once afterwards, when Dr Kwasnik was unavailable, whom find nothing wrong- however it was Dr Kwasnik’s life prognosis for my cat that turned out to be true. Everybody who works in this office is fantastic, especially doctor Kwasnik! He is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to care for your pet. His knowledge and compassion has saved my kittens life and I can’t thank him and this office enough for that! They are also very reliable on getting your pet seen as soon as they can. I highly recommend this vet office!
