I’m so grateful for this amazing vet team. My American Bulldog, Bougee had a potential blockage, and instead of rushing to extreme measures, they carefully evaluated her, explained our options, and chose the safest approach first. They were thorough, compassionate, and treated her like family. You can truly tell they care. Highly recommend for anyone who wants thoughtful, trustworthy care for their fur baby. We were expecting to pay thousands of dollars and leave us broke. But $318 later fixed her up. The 24/7 availability was a plus with no waiting on a Sunday.

I’ve had several experiences with 1st Pet Veterinary Centers, especially their 24/7 service, over the years, and they have always been there during some very stressful situations involving pets. Most recently I brought my cat, Lola, in for an emergency visit when she developed sudden concerning symptoms. The staff took the situation seriously right away and performed a thorough evaluation while explaining the possible causes and next steps. Thankfully, Lola is doing great now. They also previously helped when our dog Dani had a breathing emergency, and the team handled the situation with professionalism and compassion. During another difficult moment, they were very supportive when I had to say goodbye to my childhood cat, which meant a lot to me. I’ve also seen them respond quickly to

I highly recommend 1st Pet anytime my companion needs care. I live in Casa Grande and gladly make the drive to Chandler because I trust them completely with my best friend. They are incredibly attentive and will come out to assist your pet as soon as you arrive in the parking lot. Just be sure to call a few minutes ahead so they’re ready for you. They truly take great care of your pets, and that peace of mind means everything.

I brought my 7 yr old cat to 1st Pet ER after a recommendation from her primary vet. Unfortunately, within a few hours she had to be put down. This was my first experience putting a pet down, and it was incredibly emotional, but Dr. (I believe was her name) and the entire team were amazing. They were patient, answered all of my questions, offered multiple options, and provided honest, professional guidance. Their compassion and support during such a difficult time meant so much to me. When I returned to pick up my cat’s remains, they offered comfort and even included a card signed by all the staff. I will never forget their kindness. Thank you, 1st Pet Vet, for helping me through one of the hardest moments of my life

I unfortunately left this visit feeling disappointed. I brought my cat in because he was ill. They kept him for a “full exam”, did bloodwork & gave him fluids & was sent home. The day after we arrived home, we discovered an anal gland abscess. I took him to a different vet who confirmed that this was the root cause of his issues. Because of that, the bloodwork & fluids wouldn’t have needed to be given if they had spotted the abscess in the first place. That also leads me to believe that a “full” exam wasn’t really done. They ultimately diagnosed him with “overexertion from our stairs”. I did follow up with the clinic afterward. They were responsive and offered a partial refund, which I appreciate, although it didn’t fully reflect the cost of the visit or the impact of the missed issue.
