Justin with 1 Love Dog Rescue was pretty great. The experience was easy and smooth. We called him to look at a dog and he was available that same day. He had the shots up-to-date and everything dialed in for the adoption. Justin was very pleasant to deal with, and we are so happy that we got our new family member through his wonderful rescue! Everything was very organized and given to us and a folder so it was easy for our Vet to view. With the adoption, we also got a free month of pet insurance, which will reimburse us for our first appointment anything else for 30 days. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend using this rescue!

Justin was kind and caring. He puts in a lot of work training and assessing these dogs. My 86 year old aunt had to give up her 7 month old pup, he was more work than she realized once he reached the teen stage. My cousin and I felt justin would ensure Teddy found his best possible family. Thank you Justin for all you do. We like that he doesn't neuter too early. Dogs growth plates have not closed yet and neutering too early can cause issues in adulthood with bones and structure, arthritis etc. Also its better for a dog to recover from.a surgery when hes comfortable in his family home. Less stress. Thank you Justin for all yoi do.

Tried to call about surrendering my dog or to see if he can help courtesy post my gentle older sweet husky mix. First he completely ignored my voicemail that I had left not even 24 hrs ago. He then went on a rant about how a large husky/ shepherd mix killed his dachshund so he refuses to take another, this was all before asking a single detail about my dog that btw has never hurt a fly, the crazy part, the husky I'm surrendering has lived with a dachshund for years, she’s never harmed another animal, not even hamsters. I didn’t ask for his trauma story, I asked for help, all I got was a rant and end call. Useless rescue, listen to the other bad reviews, very disappointed all I needed was help.

Justin took in an adult and four puppies from the family of the owner who had passed away. We would have rescued the adult, but instead we were offered a puppy as someone else took the adult before we could request her. The pup was approx 10 weeks old and we felt like the adoption/rescue proceeding and costs were about normal. He gave her a microchip and booster vax upon pickup. He reviewed with us what he’d observed of her personality in the short period he had her. The pup went off to our vet as soon as we got her home…we provided our vet the initial de worming and vaccination record we were given and we were given a clean bill of health and a plan for continuation of vaccination. All as expected…better even, since rescues often get pups from the streets or from shelter where they ar
