I cannot recommend Auburn Animal Medical Center highly enough. Over the past 30 years, my family and I have trusted them with the care of our dogs and horses, and they have saved multiple lives. I have been taking my pets to animal medical center for 40+ years. Dr Kent Jackson is the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian I have ever met. The AMC staff, front office and back office technicians, are superb. If you are at AMC seeking care for your pet have confidence that you have the best professionals available to care for your pet.

They needlessly left my cat suffering without treatment for her bladder infection for two days! My cat displayed the classic symptoms of bladder infection: extremely frequent urination, bloody red urine, peeing in random locations even though fully litter-box trained, etc. Took her in to get antibiotics. Vet insisted on waiting for lab results on the bloody red urine to verify infection before prescribing antibiotics. Cat had to suffer for two days without the needed treatment because vet lacked the experience to be able to diagnose a simple bladder infection from clinical symptoms. Also, cost over $300, just to get some antibiotics. I won't be going back.

I've previously had excellent experience with Animal Medical Center. Unfortunately, corporate is pushing the vets to preform unnecessary treatments. They have raised they're prices to the point it's almost impossible to provide standard care for family pets. One quote i had for a dental was $1000.00 over another vet. At my last visit I was charged $250.00 over the $400.00 quote , nothing unexpected with the procedure. On the follow up "How did we do", I received no response from my complaint.

This place is the BEST! Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the doctors and staff. My 16 year old chihuahua had terrible dental infection/issues and needed emergency teeth removal. The doctor showed such grace and mercy for us and our situation. She truly cares about the animals health and wellbeing more than the money. I’ve been to several veterinary clinics and no one would ever consider helping us without several thousand dollars up front. She went above and beyond while working with our budget and saved our precious pup. Any surgery or procedure is risky when it comes to a 16 year old 4 pound puppy but she did amazing and he is now a healthy happy pup and even acts years younger zooming around the house like a young pup. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to all my family
