Zorro’s Crossing is a very special place. My wife and I took our kids here to see if they could help muck out the stalls or help feed the horses. The entire staff was so unbelievably welcoming and pleasant. they immediately put the kids to work and the kids actually enjoyed the labor! And, of course, seeing the horses. This is a beautiful piece of property in Chattahoochee Hills that has several corals and pastures for horses that have been abused, mistreated or neglected from all over the world. I think they have about 11 right now. The owner was telling me that they do yoga here as well as therapy for special-needs children. Nonprofits like these need to be protected for the valuable work they do to those Who need most.
Wonderful to have a safe and tranquil place for these beautiful horses. Horses are spiritual creatures that have a natural way of calming. I am so greatful for Zorro's and to each individual that makes this happen every day.
I provide equine assisted Physical Therapy at Zorro's Crossing thanks to inspiration from my co-founder of the Wonder Program Jennifer Astrop! The horse handlers are always so kind and helpful, and take such good care of the horses! It is a healing place where children love receiving their Hippotherapy!
Zorro’s Crossing is a magical place! I highly recommend volunteering or coming to one of their events. Wonderful experiences!
