Zen Animals: Clean + Holistic Pet Spa

I dropped off my 70lb 9 month old puppy at 11am with instructions to cut him very short except for his tail. They said it would take 2.5-3 hrs. From there the communication was a disaster. I called back at 2. They weren't really sure when he'd be done, but that he was still waiting for the bath. No one called me to ask if I would be free at 6 to pick him up. Around 3:45 someone called to ask what haircut he wanted. I had already explained that I wanted him overall short because his fur was starting to mat. I brushed him yesterday and knew where the new mats were because his stupid doodle fur tangles if you look at it. Anyway, I told them that I wanted a summer cut and they couldn't go too short. I guess they see a big doodle and get dollar signs in their eyes. The website says that XL dog

We have been going to Zen animal since the first day they opened on Columbia Street, and we’re so beyond thrilled. The place is clean and the whole process is just great. My Lulu loves it, she comes back looking beautiful, and so much calmer than her previous groomers.

We love Zen Animals! Our dachshund pup was getting overstimulated and scared at the place we previously took him to, and this has been such a refreshing experience. They’re excellent groomers and our dog seems significantly calmer when we go to pick him up! 5 stars!
