Yancey County Volunteer Rescue Squad

Just wanted to give a shout out to these folks and all they're doing in regards to bringing supplies and relief to, not only their own community, but those around them during this devastating time. We drove up from Harmony NC with 2 truck beds and a small trailer full of relief supplies and donations, provided by the giving hearts in and around our own community. When we were turned away by several large organizations, these folks were able to take about half of the donations we brought and their chief was able to put us in contact with other places in need. So many volunteer rescue, firefighters and just regular people are working tirelessly day in and out to make a difference in the lives of so many that need it! Thank you folks for what you're doing.
