I absolutely love YCC, my Aussie mix was super lonely and bored at home after my senior passed away last year. I saw YCC was opening, immediately went to their open house and got a tour by Shannon. Their team has already grown so much over a year and there is so much to offer for your fur babies. Their overnight boarding is fantastic and so cozy, especially with all their add-on options they give you. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone, whether it’s for daycare, boarding or just some training that is needed for your dogs. They’re all so communicative on what your animals need as they spend the day with them or just giving you updates on how well they’re doing with others. We have been taking our dog Rocket to play care and boarding for about 3 months now. He absolutely loves it! I have received great updates about his enrichment experiences along with pictures. Rocket loves going there so much that he gets excited when we pull up and sad when we leave. He absolutely adores Shannon! When I receive him at the end of the day he is not only happy but also ready for a nap. He has been making huge progress with his socialization and now when we’re out in public he is no longer nervous around other dogs he was his tail and is ready to meet and play. This place has been a saving grace for my boyfriend and I when we have to work the same days. We love it here and would recommend this place to everyone!

I am giving this review because I feel I should share this with the broader community. We had been regular customers here for daycare and had trusted this place with our dog many times before, which makes this especially hard to write. We boarded our dog at this facility from December 19 to December 27, trusting that she would be safe and well cared for. Before boarding, she was healthy, energetic, and moving normally. We brought clearly labeled home-cooked meals for the entire stay (plus a one day buffer in case of delay), daily probiotics with instructions, her bed, her favorite toy, and specifically booked a room with patio access. Cannot recommend YCC enough! My 6 month old puppy goes to puppy day camp weekly and we have done training. It is so clean, and well run. I feel like my dog is so safe and taken care of.

I love Yakima Canine Club so much. My dogs were not getting enough enrichment with us at work, and I didn't always have someone to take care of them when we travel. Enter this amazing place. Paul and Shannon have created a top of the line service, in a space that is clean, thoughtfully designed, and a perfect alternative to home. I had never boarded my dogs before going here, and I have had dogs in my home for almost 30 years. I was nervous about it. My dogs literally know what the word "playcare" means, and when I say "It's playcare day" they sprint to the door and leap in the car. They start getting antsy about 3-4 blocks from the building and are so excited to go see friends. And I know they are safe and nurtured, whether for a day of play, or a few days at the "dog hotel" as we call it
