Wyandotte Animal Adoption Center

My mom just got out of the hospital and there was her beautiful Sammy to make her feel OK. Sammy makes everything better. He is the best moment of our day. Mom adopted him seven months ago with the help of Anita, who had the night before intuited that this kitty would be a good fit for mom, and boy has he been, he’s a spiritual being. He’s a High boy and he’s made our lives OK. thank you that for all you did to make our lives so so so much better. Prior to adapting Sammy Mom had adopted a sick boy named Teddy and he was the love of her life and he lasted. I’d say four years include a picture of him on the bottom too. We adopted a wonderful cat who has fit in well with our family. She was recommended, based on what we shared in our application, by the adoption counselor with whom we worked. So glad that she suggested the cat we now call Zelda. Their adoption process is a bit more involved than other organizations, but the end result has been worth it.

Anita (WAC) and Amy (Foster Mom) were wonderful to work with during the adoption process. We applied for Greyson and another kitten to be adopted together. As luck would have it, Greyson was bonded with his younger brother, Baker. We made a meet and greet appointment the following Saturday. We bonded with the kittens pretty quickly and, upon approval, we brought them home. The transfer of their vet care was a breeze and the welcome kits received from Foster Mom Amy made for a seamless transition for the kittens in their new home. It is apparent that Anita and Amy are very dedicated and passionate when it comes to the well being and adoption of the fur babies in their care. Thanks for all you do for the pets and prospective pet parents.

I have adopted from the wyandotte adoption center. From day one, they were accommodating to times and days for a meet and greet. I was impressed how they select the best possible home for the animals instead of just passing them out without a care. We were able to meet several kitties and ultimately our girl chose us. Thanks for all you do!!!

Update: Three years later and we are so blessed to have Whiskers in our life. The time Anne spent with us and matching us with her was literally lifechanging! What a wonderful place! We were able to add Whiskers to our family through WAC. And Anne was so helpful. She was who recommended Whiskers and we wouldn't have even noticed her and now I couldn't imagine my life without her in it.
