Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary

March 27, 2022. That was Theseus’ adoption day. Back then, he went by “Buddy.” Buddy was found alone in a park, a little cat with burn marks on his body. No one knew exactly how they happened, and that part of his story will always hurt to think about—so I won’t. What matters is what happened next. Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary didn’t care what Buddy had been through. They just decided that whatever his past was, his future deserved to be better. They took him in, gave him medical care, loved him fiercely, and taught him what safety and kindness was like. They named him “Buddy”, because that’s exactly who he was to them. Wonderful sanctuary that has provided care and services to over 10,000 cats and kittens! The kindest volunteers ever! And a weekly weekend yard sale during Fall thru spring that might be one of the best you'll ever see - incredibly organized! Community support has been amazing! Thanks to the generosity of so many who help keep this operation purring! You won't find bigger hearts than the ones you'll find here and in the caring community.

The staff / volunteers are very friendly people. The were happy to answer any questions I had and let me interact with some of the cats. It is clear that they genuinely want what is best for the cats in their care. The cats seem very well cared for too.

We adopted two of our cats ( Bailey and Molly) a couple of years ago from the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary and had a great experience. We are huge cat lovers and often go back to visit other cats or charitable causes that they hold. We often donate and encourage anyone who loves cats to do the same.

Woonsocket cat sanctuary has a yard sale store on the weekend's. I went there to donate some clothes. Love the store. They have odds and ends that everyone can use
