Woofers Pet Resort - Rapid City (Black Hawk)

I recently dropped my pupper, Leo, off at Woofers while my family and I traveled out of the country for vacation. About four hours into our trip, Jayme called to let me know something just wasn’t right with Leo. That call meant everything to me — because it showed how much he truly knows and cares about the dogs in his care. Jayme recommended an immediate trip to the emergency vet and personally took Leo in. When Leo needed overnight observation at the Animal Clinic, Jayme went back, picked him up, and admitted him to the veterinary hospital to make sure he was exactly where he needed to be. Throughout the entire situation, Jayme stayed calm, communicated consistently, and honestly kept me from completely losing my mind while we were so far away. Our 5 month old pup Brook, had a great time. We were greeted on arrival/drop off as well as pick up. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Cannot say enough good things about Woofers Pet Resort. Jayme and his team are extremely knowledgeable, respectful and transparent with their work. The facility is extremely clean and accommodating for both human and canine. We boarded our shepherd for a couple days at the Black Hawk location, and though she is young and learning to meet new people and dogs, they went out of their way to help integrate her in to the rest of the pack that was there to play. Daily report cards, great communication and I believe she even left with a bath. I would rate 10 stars if I could, I highly recommend their services!

Excellent staff and by far the best boarding experience I’ve experienced in the past 15yrs of owning a dog. My current pup has a very high energy level and always comes home happy, well cared for, and wore out from playing with other dogs.

I was extremely worried about leaving my girl with someone other than family. I will always choose Woofers to care for my animals now, even if family is available. The level of care my dog, and her two cousins, have received is beyond outstanding. During day play, we received daily video updates and you can tell how much the staff truly cares and treats your pets as someone’s family. The updates made me feel reassured the entire time we were away. The option to have an apartment and 24/7 companionship is priceless. If you are having any anxiety about leaving one of your babies in someone else’s care, rest assured, Woofers will ease all of your fears and make for a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your fur babies.
