Dr. Black was amazing with my rescue dog, who is very nervous at the vet. She was so patient, and her entire team was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. They even called afterward to check how my dog was doing, which I really appreciated. The space is brand new and super clean as well! I have already recommended her to friends and family, and we all highly recommend her!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Black and Reese! Riley, my 75 lb pittie, and I just love them! Do you know Riley was so comfy with Dr Black that he laid down on the exam room floor and rolled over to allow a belly exam? Now that says something! Dr Black and Reese both took the time to get to know Riley and I and explain what every booster, vaccine, test or possible medication was for and what to expect for Riley's situation. Dr Black helped me choose the right options for my pet. If you know me, you know I'm picky. I had been driving over 1.5 hrs to my vet in PA for the last 20 years because I couldn't find one here that I really clicked with. Now, I feel at home in Woodcliff Lake Veterinary Hospital. I went to see Dr. Black today to get to the bottom of why I’ve been limping lately. She spent plenty of time looking me over and talking to my human about a game plan to get me back on my paws. Then Reese, the amazing vet tech, gave me laser therapy and a shot for my arthritis - it was almost like a spa day! I have been seeing Dr. Black for years and she is always so kind and thoughtful, no matter the reason for my visit.

We recently switched to Dr. Black at Woodcliff Lake Vet Hospital. First and foremost, we never had such a thorough and comprehensive annual exam. She identified issues our previous vet either missed, or neglected to find with the previous rushed exams. Secondly, her care and compassion are stellar. At no point, was there any pressure for additional tests or unecessary treatment. Third, the facility is clean, state of the art and welcoming. Could not be happier with our experience and would highly recommend!

Dr. Rachel Black is absolutely amazing! She has been caring for my two American Bulldogs since they were just eight weeks old, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care.
