Winslow Animal Control Shelter

The Winslow shelter is the perfect place to adopt a dog. The staff are committed to providing the best care possible. They save dogs from suffering every single day. I travel almost two hours from Concho when I am looking to adopt a dog from this wonderful shelter. I adopted this dog a few days ago. They had many beautiful, well behaved dogs.

If you go here for help, do not count on getting any help with cats. Gentleman in a leather jacket was very rude. He needs to learn basic people skills.

We had a tremendous experience adopting our sweet boy from the Winslow Animal Control Facility. The staff was very kind and made the adoption process easy and comfortable. Very impressed by their compassion for the animals- our new addition was very well taken care of at the facility.

Winslow Animal Control Shelter is where we found our precious June. So grateful for the staff who took her in as an abandoned pup in dire condition and rehabilitated her for three months. The fact that she loves people despite her rough beginning in life is testament, in part, to the excellent care she received while waiting for her forever home with us. Facility was spacious and extremely clean (some indoor smells are inevitable at a shelter), and the adoption fee was very reasonable. We received vet records and rabies tag as we were told we would, a few weeks after adoption.

This is a wonderful place that takes care of strays and adopts them out! I got my favorite dog here. The staff are all so nice and really care! Thank you for Rusty, I renamed him Kevin, and he has come along very well with obedience lessons. No more running away! I love him!
