Winnsboro Animal Shelter

There are three handsome and well behaved pitties, Newton, Coal and Dill Pickle and one sweetheart named Darling…Loki, a Shepard mix(all black) may have gotten adopted today, he is energetic but sweet. :)

I was surprised by the facility, very organized and clean. Wasn't expecting it to be near the city park and pool, that was really nice to discover!

Very friendly staff and clean environment, all the cats we looked at seemed healthy and happy 😊 my daughter chose a very sweet little girl

Got my daughter's dog here and she is amazing! Staff let them play and get to know each other before we made the decision to pick her up. They are a great team and love each other endlessly! Staff was great and helped at every turn. If I had a question, they answered honestly. They gave us food, toys, lead, collar, and a towel for the dog to make sure she had familiar things when she came with us. I recommend getting a shelter animal any day!!

I had lost my best friend in July of 2024..he was run over by a speeding car..my heart hurt..2 months later when I was ready for a new friend,I found my girl bella.at the winnsboro animal shelter..bella is what I chose to name her,and she likes her name..I'm a truck driver,over the road,she has acclimated herself to the truck very well,and to me..we are going to have a wonderful life together..God willing..there are wonderful dogs and friends just waiting to find you,or you find them..go by there and give one of them a chance to steal your heart..
