Windrose Animal Hospital & Urgent Care

I have been going to Windrose specifically for urgent care and because they see exotic pets. I unfortunately had to put down my guinea pig last March, and the doctors at Windrose were the BEST. It was obviously a very sad situation for me, but they made sure I was 100% ready for her to leave the room and even offered to make paw prints for us. About a week later, we received a handwritten card signed by all of the staff sharing their condolences. I was so grateful for the way they took care of my Luna. Now I have two baby guinea pigs who recently had mites, and once again they were so attentive and sweet, making sure they were okay and properly treated so they could be healthy again. Pricing is very fair and well explained! I highly recommend Dr. Alaina!

The staff and veterinarians at Windrose are the best there is! They always take such good care of our little golden retriever boy, Cash! When our boy started limping this year, we thought he might have sprained or pulled something. They did a VERY thorough exam on him and we came to find out that he had lyme disease. Not only did they help/save our boy from lots of discomfort and potentially worse symptoms/life threatening issues but they checked in on him periodically and made sure he was on the right track to getting better. They explain everything so thoroughly and you can see how much they care about each animal they take care of. I've been to quite my fair share of vets over the years and no other place compares. This hospital for me is more than a house, in this hospital I have been attending to my pets since I arrived in Cranberry. I had been given one of the hardest moments when I said goodbye to my 16-year-old baby hairy, and in this place I felt an indescribable peace, I felt supported and loved at this hard time when the world seems to be falling apart. They were very human at this tough time and with the rest of my pets I have always felt the same care. I just love and recommend this place.

This place is the absolute best for my buns, Diet Pepsi and Dr. Pepper! I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. The services for exotic pets are comprehensive and don’t cost you an arm and a leg like many other places. I’ve visited both the regular and urgent care practices and have had nothing but excellent service and the utmost care put into my bunnies’ health. I love that they do a lot of the examination in the room with me, and they are always willing to add on a nail trim! They even send a detailed follow-up via email following your appointment. I want to extend an extra heartfelt thank you to Dr. Cailyn Pease and Dr. Ashley Mell for helping me be the best bun mom as possible to my two rescues! I highly recommend Windrose Animal Hospital & Urgent Care!

An outstanding Animal Hospital & Urgent Care organization. We have been with Windrose since it opened in Oct 2024. Our first Vet was Dr. Skalos the owner who sat on the floor with Aika.
