Windmill Animal Rescue & Wildlife Rehabilitation

Windmill is in a small feed & Pet Supply store. Cats available for adoption greet customers, rolling around on the counter to help check out. The place is run by volunteers who really love the animals and the people who come in. They work with wildlife rehabilitators, so you never know what you might hear about coming in during spring! Love going in for cat fix...they had guinea pigs and a rabbit as well, last time I stopped by! They also go out to schools, scout meetings, and more, to educate the public about animals...both domestic and wild. It's a wonderful community service organization

Couldn't get rid of this cute little kitten there, but they helped me out and had a bunch of cool cats up for adoption. Adopt one if ya can!

If I can give it a zero I would. The workers are very unprofessional and rude. Me and my boyfriend went there to volunteer for our high school project. We volunteered once before for the project. This last time we emailed them and told them the day we are able to come in and they said that it was good and we could go. We get there and they didn’t even remember we were supposed to come in (this happened every time) and then told us they didn’t have anything for us and to come back on Thursday (nov 14 2024) We get there right after school and waited in the car until the time they told us to come in. We go in there and the worker asks if we need anything. Once we tell her we were there to volunteer she started yelling (yea yelling) at us that she already had 2 volunteers and that she it wou

I visited here recently. All the cats I saw were very happy and healthy! The staff takes their time with you, as the cats roam around, coming up to you seeking pets , and even checking out your lap accommodations! Thanks specially to Toni and Melissa!
