I’ve been working with Dawn since August 2022 for gluten detection training, and she is truly one of a kind. She’s confident, knowledgeable, and is there to guide me when I’m not sure of myself. She’s not just a trainer- she becomes a sounding board and friend. Dawn is always honest and has you and your dog’s best interest at heart. We started by training my first dog, and when I was ready for a second, Dawn helped me through the entire process of finding the perfect prospect. Having a gluten detection dog has been a complete blessing, and I absolutely couldn’t have done it without her. Highly recommend!

After false starts in other gluten detection training programs, I feel so lucky to have been connected with Dawn. She's seen it all when comes to service dogs and gluten detection task training. I love that the program is structured with benchmarks to meet before moving on and Dawn provides an immense amount of guidance and troubleshooting support along the way. I get very sick from gluten and have been limiting what I eat to primarily things I prepare myself for many years. Tillie isn't fully trained yet but has already made it easier for me to travel and enjoy social events by widening my food options.

Dawn is an amazing service dog trainer. My older dog (Luna) was a failure in another program, and Dawn turned her around, and Luna is now working. Dawn has met up with me to work through some issues with my dogs, and she was very kind and thoughtful with them. I would highly recommend Dawn as your next service dog trainer.

I can’t say enough good things about Dawn and Willow Service Dogs. When I was 14, I was struggling with severe food allergies to mainly dairy protein & tree nuts(I was especially touch-reactive) and had very little independence. Thanks to Dawn’s training and dedication, I was matched with my first allergen detection dog, and everything changed. Because of her, I was able to attend high school like a normal kid, go on trips, and even eat out safely, things I couldn’t have imagined doing without my parents before.
