Chris was amazing! We sent our 1 year old Jack Russell mix rescue to the four week program and it was 100% worth it! Pepe walks so much better on leash, recalls off leash and knows his "place" in the household:). It was well worth the investment. Chris' knowledge of dogs and behavior is superior! Great experience at Wild River Kennels! Chris and Kiira run a phenomenal operation. The facility is super clean. The training was top-notch and they even give you recommendations of food, treats, and a game plan once you get your dog back. Our black lab Sadie had a phenomenal time, and we look forward to doing more training with Chris, Kiira, and the Wild River Kennels family.

Sending a dog away for training can be a bit nerve-wracking, but Chris and Kiira at Wild River Kennels made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. We found Wild River Kennels while searching for help training our 1 year old (and extremely high energy) Weimaraner pup Earl Grey. We initially did a 2.5 week board and train focusing on obedience and off-leash skills and the results were great. Chris and Kiira really helped teach him how to walk on heel and what the expectations were around his behavior and effort during training. They really succeeded where other trainers we had worked with had failed. Given their experience with active hunting breeds they were able to handle our high-energy high-prey drive dog. As with any dog training, don't expect miracles, it is up to the owner to continue reinforcing the foundations that the dog will learn during their stay at Wild River Kennels. Wild River Kennels is by far the best place to bring your pup! We dropped off our Titan boy November 27th and he stayed and worked the 4 week basic obedience/on and off leash training program! We just picked up our baby today & wow what a difference! He has such wonderful leash manners & he is on point with his commands! We will 100% continue coming to wild river kennels whether it’s for boarding, continued training and even doggy daycare!
