WILD Pet Provisions

This review is long overdue! I’ve been going to WILD since we moved to Portland over 4 years ago. Since then we have moved out to the burbs, but I continue to drive into the city to shop for all the things for my cat (raw food, toys and supplies) because of how much I love them and they only stock the best of the best. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and Heather, the owner is incredible. I’ve been meeting with her for over two years off and on to get help on various things that have come up and to make sure I’m doing all the right things. I also just love talking with Heather… it’s like meeting with a friend. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! I’m forever grateful I found WILD and I love you all 🫶🏼

We were pointed to WILD two years ago to get help with our pup who was having ongoing tummy troubles. We met with Heather, the owner and pet nutritionist extraordinaire. She is a font of information! Thanks to her wisdom and continued support through a variety of flare-ups our pup is thriving again. We love that we can treat the issue with good, unprocessed food and gentle supplements. All of the staff at WILD are very knowledgeable, clearly love animals, and are friendly and super helpful. WILD has cute toys and hip raincoats, sure, but the heart of WILD is their mission to educate pet guardians so our pets can live happy and healthy lives. We are forever grateful.

We have worked with Heather for Pet Nutritional counseling for over 10 years. We first started with our Gunnar as he was having some extremely odd stomach issues, and I mean ODD! With heathers help we were able to help him overcome these issues and even more. Sadly our Gunnar passed away recently however I give SO MUCH credit to Heather for helping him thrive in life for over 16 years. I FIRMLY believe that Gunnars diet and nutritional supplementation extended his life by many fantastic years. A few weeks ago, I unexpectedly became the proud owner of a 6-month-old Maltipoo puppy! It had been years since our beloved lab passed, so I was a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out what to feed our new little girl. I stopped by Wild Pet Store the same day and was immediately welcomed by two of the kindest employees, who took the time to educate me on the different raw food brands and options available. They generously provided me with a bag full of samples, which allowed me to test different foods and discover my puppy’s favorite—Juju Goat with Parsley! Without those samples, I wouldn’t have known what she preferred. Thanks to their extraordinary care and concern, I’m now a loyal customer for life. The customer service here is top-notch!
