This rescue is the real deal. Recently met the owner Polla through a work volunteer event at the sanctuary. She is an amasing person, down to earth, sensible, realistic, and above all loves these animals deeply. She has their best interests in mind first and foremost- down to the small details of the interior, the layout for these elderly and gentle dogs, the turf backyard, even a kitchen for upcoming programs. You can schedule times to volunteer or to just sit and cuddle these extremely cuddly loves. (Scheduling ahead is recommended for visits to keep groups smaller and not overwhelm the dogs).
