Whisky River Gun Dogs

Todd is doing an amazing job with my English cocker spaniel oakley! I am so happy hearing and seeing her progress as a hunting dog and can’t wait to continue using Todd for boarding and training. I highly recommend whiskey river gun dogs for training he has an amazing bond with my dog!

Purchased my male springer in May of 2021 from Todd. He (Rogan) is a natural and flushed 50 plus pheasants his first season. Rogan's drive and natural abilities are hard to believe for such a young dog.

Todd is AWESOME! I sent him my poodles and he trained them to hunt! My girl is very soft and sensitive and Todd had the right touch to get her to blossom to her full potential. He's great with the dogs, my dogs adore him and can't get out of the truck fast enough when I take them for boarding!

We just got our english springer spaniel puppy from whisky river in April and we had the best experience. Todd is very responsive and knowledgeable about the breed, puppies, and training hunting dogs. We visited the kennel before deciding on a pup: its a great, clean facility with a lot of happy dogs. Todd let us play with our puppy and showed us the skills of his young & old dogs in training. We were very impressed and intend to take our puppy back to whisky River for hunting training when he is ready. Our puppy seems to have a lot of natural instinct about retrieving and sniffing through tall grass/ brush. We would recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a new companion and hunting dog!

When we started looking for an English springer spaniel for bird hunting, we did a lot of research on breeders in the surrounding states. We read through websites, lineage, and called a trusted family friend who trains birds dogs. We quickly realized that Todd and Ann at Whisky River Gun Dogs we raising and training exceptional gun dogs that were not only made for bird hunting, but would become a loving part of our family. Our dog, Nashville, has all the puppy energy and love for hunting, but is a HUGE lover of snuggles and family time. He is smart, eager, well trained (thanks to Todd!), and the goofiest dog you’ll ever meet. We highly recommend Whisky River!
