Wet Pet & Reptile Center now Tipping the Scales

I love wet pet. My sister volunteers there once a week and the staff is awesome with her. I've adopted 2 bearded Dragons (Star Lord and Nebula), our Rabbit (Snow), and put down a deposit for my third Bearded Dragon / Guardian (Mantis). I will be a lifelong customer and I am so happy with my new family members. So awesome to have a great business in Essex!

Wet Pet is hands down the best place for reptile owners. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about the animals. My snake is healthy, thriving, and I always leave feeling confident I’m getting the right advice and products. Clean store, great selection, and amazing customer service. Highly recommend!

Baby turtle was nice and healthy, lively also! Needs a bit more attention to customer service but overall they will tell you how to care for your new pet! Only place that had what we were looking for within the DMV region def would recommend

I’m honestly saddened by the 'fall from grace' of this shop. What used to be a great spot has turned into a display of laziness and neglect. From filthy tanks to animals that literally don't have room to turn around, it was hard to watch. The staff didn't seem to care at all, preferring their phones over basic animal husbandry. Do yourself (and the animals) a favor and shop somewhere that actually respects the hobby. I’m hoping to see a massive change when I check back in a few months.

The animals were very impressive. The staff was very friendly, prices are awesome. I ordered 1,000 crickets for my 2 beardies & I received them, all alive. Other places I've gotten crickets from, I end up getting at least half of them dead. The store smelled like reptiles, but that's to be expected. My son was so impressed with the amazing snakes & the huge iguana is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so glad my friend referred me to this place! It's a bit of a drive but it's worth it b/c what I paid for 1,000 crickets is what I was paying for 400 at petsmart. I'm very happy with my experience at Wet Pet & Reptile Center.
