We are beyond grateful for the care and compassion shown to us and our black lab, Sadie, during the most heartbreaking moment of our lives. From the moment we opened our car door, the team at Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital & Emergency Hospital was already there waiting for us. They immediately took Sadie back and got her into ICU without hesitation. Unfortunately, due to the severity of her injuries from the accident, we were not able to bring her home. The staff handled everything with such kindness, respect, and empathy during an incredibly traumatic time for our family. When we received her cremated remains along with her paw print, it was completely unexpected and meant more to us than we can put into words. We cannot thank this team enough for going above and beyond and f

Me and my wife brought our chocolate lab in after hours and we were seen right away. Brandon Hughes was very thorough with his exam and did not rush us out like we’ve had happen at different vets. He genuinely cared about providing our pup the best care possible and making a knowledgeable diagnosis. He treated us well and our pet like it was his own. We will be getting established at this location for further care and we are very happy with WCRAH!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Ziegler and the incredible team here. After my dog Cooper was attacked by a bear, we rushed in late at night, terrified and not sure what to expect. They got us in right away, and from the moment we walked through the door, the entire staff worked to keep both Cooper and my wife calm and comfortable. Dr. Ziegler explained everything clearly, handled Cooper with such care, and managed to complete the treatment in less time than they had anticipated. On top of that, the cost was more than fair—especially considering it was 10pm and an emergency. Thanks to Dr. Ziegler’s skill and compassion, Cooper is on the road to recovery, and I now trust them completely. I’ve decided to make this my primary vet for all of my dogs from here on out. They truly went

We received fantastic care last night for our cat who had a very swollen paw and was crying and panting when we saw it. We were seen by Dr. Zeigler. He was very intelligent and explained things thoroughly. Thankfully he is part detective. What we thought was an incident that had just occurred was really an incident that had festered over time. We were in and out within an hour. Thank God for places like this that are open any time of day to keep our pets healthy and happy!

We took our dog in after he had eaten what we think was a child’s toy, very sick very week actually on the verge of death. The staff was very kind and started treatments as soon as as bloodwork and x-rays were completed. The doctor was very candid about our dog’s condition and chances of loosing him. He had emergency surgery(very intense surgery), the dr called me due to something unexpected during surgery to confirm if he should continue or euthanize, due to our dogs young age l said continue. The next morning they called and the dr that admitted him was surprised but well pleased to update me that he was doing better than expected. They continued to update me twice a day and arrange visits, though the cost was high the service was excellent! I would definitely say if you’re animal has an
