I brought my dog Hershey in for surgery and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The entire staff was so sweet, caring, and professional, and the doctor was absolutely wonderful. They explained everything clearly, treated Hershey with so much love, and made me feel completely at ease. I’m beyond thankful for their care and would recommend them to anyone.

About a year ago, my kitten Marceline had to have a surgery, it was a terrifying experience to put my cats life in someone else’s hands. But Dr.Smith not only was able to accommodate with pricing but most importantly saved her life. I’m forever grateful to this practice. I’ve attached some photos of Marcy from after surgery to now.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Carlos Smith and his wonderful office staff. Dr. Smith is very kind, patient, and truly takes his time explaining everything to families. He’s knowledgeable and makes you feel confident that your pets are in the best hands. You can truly see that he works with his heart and genuinely enjoys what he does. His knowledge and compassion made me feel completely confident that Lola and Nero were in the best care. The entire team is welcoming, attentive and supportive. Highly recommend this veterinary office!

I've been coming to Westbird Animal Hospital for nearly two decades. I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else. The practice is currently operated by Dr. Carlos Smith who is an excellent veterinarian. Dr. Smith has always taken the time to answer any and all questions, has always made himself available to his patients and is and all around great person. His staff is always friendly, helpful and will assist thier patients in any way they can. They are a great team!!

I recently made the decision of changing Vet. It has been the best decision I have made! I was tired of the long waiting periods even when I had an appointment, in another Vets office. Also, the excessive costs. Sometimes I felt as if I was in an assembly line and always rushed when it came to our turn. Dr. Smith and his staff were personable, considerate and kind. I spayed my Bibi and he took the time to call me when blood work was done to give me the results prior to surgery. He called me after she was out of surgery to let me know she was well and he went over all the post surgery care once we were home. I know that I have made the right decision for me and my Bibi.
