John has done a great job with both of my labs by bringing out their full potential. He does a great job explaining the responsibilities of the owner in order to get the most progress out of the dog. He gives honest expectations and progress updates. He was able to place AKC Master Hunter and UKC HRCH title in a small window of time. I would highly recommend him to any retriever owner.

I highly recommend West Wind Retrievers and Training. I have used just about every service they offer, from my dog Cooper’s initial obedience training, up to receiving his Junior Title through their hunting school, they have been awesome! I have boarded Cooper here several times when away and they treat him like family. They even take him out on their training trips just so he can run and stretch his legs! I will continue to take Cooper to them, he loves it!

I can’t say enough good things about West Wind Retrievers!! Our Luna just finished the 5 week basic obedience and off leash program with awesome results. She is 1 1/2 years old and smart/stubborn so we were a little worried. The staff did awesome with her and treated her so well. All habits we wanted broken/fixed were changed. Best behaved dog we’ve had. We are so thrilled with our experience that we have chosen to board her there.
