West Seattle Animal Hospital

We have been family members/patients of West Seattle Animal Hospital for 15 years and have gone through the thrill of a new puppy/kitten, routine management of our pet's health routines, and the end-stage life management for our beloved family members. We feel a part of the family and feel treated like a family member, particularly during those tough times helping an aging pet at the end-stage of their lives. Ouch. Most recently we had to make the decision to euthanize our almost 9-year old bulldog, Tiny Zoe, and Dr. Sternitsky and the entire team were caring and supportive throughout helping us manage her pain, making the difficult decision to euthanize vs. multiple surgeries, and were there for us in a peaceful and calming way while we put Tiny Zoe to rest. 🐾 ❤️❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ❤️❤️ 🐾 We’ve been to this veterinary clinic before for our “spicy” senior cat, who isn’t easy to handle due to his size and feisty nature. When he got sick our first visit was tough!! —another vet insisted on full sedation for an exam, which cost us nearly $1,000. 😩 When his symptoms returned, I hesitated to go back due to the high cost and stress of sedation on our older kitty. Enter Addy, the amazing vet tech who truly saved the day! 💖🐾 I shared my concerns with the receptionist, Addy called me fairly quickly, patiently answering all of my (many) questions, hearing my concerns and working with the doctor to explore options for the possibility of examining our cat without full sedation. She was SO kind, calling multiple times over 24 hours to coordinate a plan. We saw Dr. Ke

I walked in this place with zero sleep and a sick dog. They got me in immediately and the receptionist was so kind. The veterinarian answered all of my questions, which made me feel good about my dog health being in the right hands. Winston my dog is feeling so much better. Thanks West Seattle animal hospital!

When our sweet fur baby was having what we thought was a continuation of previous issues, we made an appointment for a checkup to make sure we were doing everything we were supposed to. When her pain became more intense in the days leading up to our appointment, the lovely people at West Seattle Animal Hospital made space for her to come in a day earlier. After her visit, we got her more pain management, but by the next day, it was clearly not enough to improve her quality of life. My 7-year old Ragdoll had severe constipation which required multiple enemas over a period of days. I had to drop him off 3 days in one week and they took great care of him and made him feel loved. This prevented him from needing to be sedated as he trusted them. I am so grateful to the staff at West Seattle Animal Hospital.
