I adopted Leon (Shelter name: Mac) over 5 years ago. I will never trade this for the world .I'm very happy with him! He's been the goodest boy ever and a lovely ESA Support in training for Service animal! I never knew that one sparked in the eye would cause a ripple effect of a lifetime. Leon is forever loved and he has a forever home. 💙 Thank you

My girlfriend and I adopted Rowdy from here in August of 2024, and it was the best decision we have ever made. This shelter is full of awesome people that do awesome work, but most of all, the director Neely is truly amazing. From the moment we stepped out of the vehicle, she helped us find the perfect dog for us. She was very kind and helpful, and you can really tell she truly loves what she does. The animals here are in great hands, and I would 1000% recommend people to adopt from here. I would do it over and over again if I could.

Neely and her amazing crew are so awesome! So warm and welcoming! She made the adoption process so incredibly easy. After my daughter Emily and with her amazing surgical team at MSU introduced us and made it all happen too!! 🤍 We are so grateful to all of them for our beautiful girl Kaida!! We are beyond thrilled and thankful. Definitely worth the drive up from Md! I just want to give a huge shoutout to Neely and her team! We adopted Winter today and from the time I reached out about her to even at this very moment they have been so very helpful. We were greeted with so much excitement and love that they will always hold a special place in our family’s heart. Their Animal Shelter is one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. You can definitely tell that none of the animals there feel uncomfortable. I would highly recommend going to their shelter if you’re looking for you a fur baby.
