West Park Animal Hospital

We had a great first visit to West Park Animal Hospital! From the minute you walk in the door you can tell everyone genuinely cares for your pet. Our vet tech, Summer, and Dr. Reitz took the time to get to know Murphy and to answer all of my questions. They even sat on the floor for his exam to be sure he was comfortable and happy. I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful team to care for my dog!

My shy and defensive bulldog walked into the office a nervous wreck, and walked out a smiling, drooling and happy bully girl who had made some new friends. The staff were so kind, gentle and patient working with a dog that another vet in the area insisted be tranquilized before appointments. Their willingness to work with Chewy to get her recurring allergy prescription refills approved was the icing on the cake of a great first visit.

Having recently moved to the area from North of Tampa I was in search of a new Veterinarian practice. I had been with my previous Vet for close to 17 years so it was a little nerve racking to say the least, especially due to the COVID-19 protocols. I came across reviews for West Park Animal Hospital and felt comfortable giving them a chance. I'd like to also add they allow you in with your fur-baby, following safe Covid practices, which helped to ease the anxiety. The reviews I read were all spot on. From my first initial call, Allison, extended a warm greeting with a caring voice. Walking in for the first time, and second now, relieved all concerns, nice clean practice, warm cozy patient rooms, they even ask if you'd like a soda or water! Hannah and Dr. Hyde made me feel right at home.

What an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and animal-loving staff! West Park went above and beyond for our little kitten. They contacted our other vet to get information all on their own, they added special personal touches to the room to make Dobby feel at ease. They let us be in the room for his shots. They went over every detail of pricing, and they made us feel completely at ease. Thank you so much for loving our pet. :)

I can’t express enough how great this vet truly is! All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. My dog is always so excited to hangout with the staff. Also, I’ve noticed that their prices are more reasonable than other clinics in the area. Whenever, we have an urgent need to see the vet they do their best to inform us of any cancellations and get us in asap. This is the best vet clinic in westchase!
