Stay around because this might be a little long. My overall impression general veterinary practices is not great. It seems rushed, and not comprehensive, but that impression stops here. Dr. Stewart and his team are fantastic even for the slightly neurotic pet parents (self diagnosed of course 🙋🏼‍♀️). I had an extremely traumatic experience at another local veterinary hospital in Olympia with my oldest dog that has now passed on, that I decided to start looking elsewhere for care for my now singleton dog, Ellie. When I met Dr. Stewart it was fresh off losing my 18 year old dog, and my 6 year old dog at the time was experiencing some really odd, and slightly concerning symptoms that landed us in the ER twice. Dr. Stewart was so extremely compassionate. He understood my hesitancy and conce

I knew my cat had some dental issues, so I shopped around to find the right care and prices that worked for me. Seemingly out of nowhere my cat stopped eating and started showing signs that he was in pain. I called around for ANYONE that would treat him soon. I called so many places that were booking weeks out. When I got ahold of Westside Animal Clinic, they had availability to take him the next day! They diagnosed AND treated him the day that I took in. The staff was very informative, thorough, polite and funny. Pricing was VERY reasonable, actually much less than other places for dental work. They took excellent care of my cat and I won’t be going anywhere else for my pets care. Pic is my post op kitty. He’s going GREAT!

Recently moved to Washington and needed a vet for my critter's Rabies vax and long overdue dental work. They did an excellent job. Shoutout to Lyssa the dental tech. Talked to her for a bit and she really does understand how important our pets are to us, how they can actually save us. What I like most is that it's not an office with 10 vets and 50 animals around. It's just Dr. Stewart and his necessary staff so the office vibe is relaxed. That helps me and I believe is helpful to my cat. A positive experience all around. Thank You!

Definitely overall the best vet and facility. I have been going to him for 2 years. I have been to over 10 other vets over the past 20 years for emergencies or overall wellness. Positive things just to name a few: front desk staff are attentive And friendly and actually return your calls. Everybody in this facility never seems put out by questions asked or extra steps. This vet is extremely personable and will take the time to answer all questions and talk to you on the phone and face to face. He never seems annoyed and he always gives several other options as well as his opinion as a professional as to what should be done. He gives his honest opinion and then leaves it up to you as the owner to decide. Love this place and always recommend it to everybody I know with animals!!!!!!!! I have

Took my dog in for a UTI, they ran “tests” on him determined he probably had kidney failure. Didnt bother to mention how serious it was. Then decided to not try to tackle the failing liver. Our dog didnt even make it through his UTI medication. Vet even tried to tell me our dog was healthy even though has was skin and bones. Instead of trying to tackle the problem. It was chalked up to I needed to feed him more. Nothing to do with organ failure. DO NOT bring your pets here. They will try to get you to pay for everything but your pets actual needs
