Dr Ward is the best Vet I have ever taken my lil kiddos to. She is brilliant, gentle, very kind and empathetic. Im 69 and I’ve had several Japanese Chins. She’s the perfect vet. She makes me and my kids feel loved. Because that’s how she is. She has had to put a few down. When that happens, the entire practice gets quiet. She lets me have all the time I need to say goodbye until I see them again at The Rainbow Bridge. She is worth the short drive from Baltimore or Frederick to West Friendship m. She’s a rare Veterinarian! I’ve seen many in the many different states I’ve lived in. I don’t trust or love anyone like I do Dr Ward. I followed her to West Friendship from Eastern Ave in Baltimore. West Friendship Animal Hospital is absolutely fantastic! The staff is incredibly helpful and always goes above and beyond to make every visit smooth and stress-free. I truly love all the doctors—they’re knowledgeable, compassionate, and take the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for top-notch care for their pets!

My little dog Louie was so sick, he was lethargic, shaky and could barley walk. A previous Vet, did not detect anything and sent us home with a prescription for Trazodone which he threw up thank goodness. When my friend recommended West Friendship I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. They took X-rays and even brought me back to see the X-rays so first thing found, he was backed up. So they decided to keep him for the day, get an enema in him and start IV fluids. So without writing a novel, the doctors there all put their heads together and after 3 day and lots of blood work and more IV fluids my boy has Addison’s disease. The good news is, it is treatable. West Friendship will be my vet forever 💙💙💙

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ward and her team at West Friendship. As soon as i walked in with my new puppy Archie i felt this was the perfect place for us.Monica was absolutely amazing and so were the girls at the front desk. Dr Ward was wonderful and you can tell the love she has for these 4 legged babies.I will never go to another veterinarian. Dr. Ward and the techs truly love animals. They are extremely knowledgeable, patient and above all else kind. Highly recommend!!

I had my first visit with Dr Estelle Ward last week and was overwhelmed by her professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and quality of comprehensive care that she provided. I was so impressed and feel completely confident that my pup (who suffers from a bladder stone and ruptured heart valve) is in good hands. I highly recommend this wonderful vet!
