I didn’t intend to write a review, but I recently received a call from the office to update Murphy’s vaccination records. This was upsetting because he hadn’t been a patient for over a year and passed away in April 2025. When they asked why I was switching practitioners, I expressed my deep disappointment with the time and money wasted on a poor treatment plan. West End Veterinary treated an open wound on Murphy’s rear left leg for almost a year. They used various methods, including creams and laser light therapy (a waste of time and money), but never suggested a biopsy or surgical removal. Eventually, I sought a second opinion from another veterinarian, who promptly performed a biopsy. The results showed the growth was malignant, and tragically, Murphy passed away six months later. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this practice & my experience there with my bearded dragon! He is almost 12 and the care/support I have received from this office has been top notch! Every member of this office has made us feel supported & he has always been treated with such care! On our worst days, they have taken care of me as a pet parent & him as their patient. Highly recommend if you are looking for an exotic vet!! Dr. Santiago & her whole team are the best!

Great place for everything. Clean and professional. They limit the amount of animals that come into the waiting area (no over booking) And the price is very reasonable.

We’ve been using West end Veterinary for our rabbits for 5 years. They were committed to keeping care available during COVID, which was when we started with them. They have great communication, easy booking. Our rabbits are always handled carefully and with love.

I am extremely disappointed with the way we were treated at West End Veterinary Office during what was already a very emotional and stressful situation involving our newborn puppy. We left a $132 deposit simply to have our puppy checked by a doctor, but instead of receiving compassionate guidance, we were met with pressure and fear-based statements from a nurse named Sue, who repeatedly told us our puppy was going to die when we had already explained we had other care options and did not want to hear such distressing language. Sue appeared visibly upset that we did not want to spend $500 to leave the puppy overnight in an incubator, and the interaction quickly became tense and uncomfortable rather than supportive.
