West End Animal Care Clinic

I switched to west end animal clinic and it was the best decision I ever made for my babies. They truly care and have taken care of everything they need and more. I don’t wait any more than 2 minutes in the lobby and they do their thing quick and efficiently. They’re easy to talk to and very understanding to any concerns or questions you may have. I’ve got two happy rescue kitties, thank you west end!!

They were nice. Be cautious, though. I was coldly told that my pet had a rapidly developing cancer. I had no idea what she was talking about when she used the medical terms. I had to ask specifically what she was saying, otherwise, I would have walked out not having a clue what she meant. She did a very brief exam before she told me this. There was no empathetic or sympathetic feeling whatsoever that day. Turns out she did not have cancer at all. She was actually quite a healthy dog when I took her to the next vet and had Blood work done. It was quite a scare of having to tell my seven children and possibly lose my baby. It was awful in that time period. Thankfully, I was wise enough not to tell the kids until I had confirmed it with the next vet a while later. She also recommended that I

If I could give a 10 star, this place would be it. It is new, beautiful, clean. Most important thing was the courtesy and the knowledge of the staff and the doctor. I have been through 4 vets. I have found my forever home for my animals. They have Ultrasound equipment, Besides the knowledge of the doctor, they also give a detailed report, They are up on technology And they actually really care for animals, which is so important and we had not found lately with other places. Major disappointment! After being a loyal client of West End Animal Clinic for over 5.5 years, I am deeply saddened and disappointed by the lack of compassion shown during a medical crisis. I arrived at 5:55 PM, just minutes before the clinic’s posted 6:00 PM closing time, with my 18-year-old dog who had taken a sudden and severe downturn. During his afternoon walk, he collapsed in my driveway and began shallow breathing. I rushed him to the clinic in distress. The receptionist mouthed through the door that they were closed and did not allow me inside, despite the clearly posted hours. I sat outside in tears, holding my dog. I am grateful to Alex, the veterinary technician, who came to the door, listened to my dog’s breathing, checked his mouth, and advised me to go to an emergency hos
