West Coast Dog Training

Kelsey was an incredible support to us. When we adopted a rescue dog I quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing in regards to training and supporting the transition for not only our family but also our dog. When I reached out to Kelsey she was kind, encouraging and helpful. She was happy to come and observe us and effectively discerned what we needed to focus on and what we didn't. She helped my confidence and our families consistency with our dog. I honestly do not know what we would have done without her. We have had our pup for almost as year now and she is settled, loved and trusting/trusted. We have the tools to train her and have build a wonderful relationship with her because of what Kelsey taught us. Honestly I can not thank her enough.

My dog Kobe had a total of 8 sessions with Kelsey. She was absolutely amazing with the both of us. I would cry all the time before we started the lessons because i was so frustrated. Kobe was a very reactive dog, but this improved significantly as our lessons progressed. He was finally able to nap throughout the day and sleep better at night. His confidence grew and so did mine. He is much calmer and happier outside and at the park. He can follow commands and do lots of tricks. Kelsey taught me different techniques for distraction, calming him and keeping him mentally busy to tire him out. It only took one session for me to realize just how dedicated and professional Kelsey is. Going into the first session, I believed that I was in for an extremely difficult and stressful couple of months. Kelsey’s amazing attitude and well laid out lesson plan took the stress out of training and even made it enjoyable. Not only is she great with dogs but people as well. Her knowledge on dog behavior is astounding and she really enjoys what she does. It was a privilege working with Kelsey and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for training.

Kelsey did an amazing job assisting us with our young dog that suffers from extreme separation anxiety. Seeing the change in his personality after only a few sessions was something that we didn’t expect to happen so quickly. Her caring and relaxed approach to the training was a welcome change from some of our previous experiences with other dog trainers. We would highly recommend Kelsey and look forward to booking further sessions with her this year.

I had four private sessions with Kelsey when I bought my beautiful dog, Annie in from Iran. From a dog we could not barely touch, to a dog that could rotate between two households, children, and our other dog has been the most beautiful journey thanks to Kelsey’s help!
