Well Bred - The Healthy Pet Marketplace, Self Wash & DOG GROOMERS

Casper, Casper, Casper. He’s the rock star of dog grooming. A breeder himself of long haired dogs, my Lhasa Apso show dogs and their long coats are in great hands with him. I trust no one else and I travel 35 minutes each way to bring my 4 dogs to him when I’m not able to groom them myself, or they simply need to be “Caspered”

Went to Well Bred for the first time to use their self-service dog wash. They were very accommodating, allowing me to bathe all three of my well-behaved medium-sized dogs. The bath is in a small room so the other two just laid down while one was being bathed. Gave me extra shampoo. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and she gave my dogs treats afterward. Very reasonable price for the baths. Will definitely be going back!

This is Simba, he’s very prone to ear allergies and everytime I would take him to petsmart for a bath I would tell them to please please avoid putting any water in his ears. And everytime they would fail and Simba would have a whole new ear infection. After not being able to trust others to bathe him, I decided it was best I do it myself and that’s when I found this place. I have nothing but good things to say, the staff is so kind and welcoming. They’re also so understanding and considerate. There’s a lady in the front that is always happy and seems to love what she does. The space itself, is good for my 90lb golden Pyrenees. I feel perfectly comfortable there and so does my simba.

TLDR: Grooming visit led to vet visit which revealed abscesses on his back from the grooming visit. Turned out to be post-grooming furunculosis. I already told the manager of the business Leslie that I would be leaving this review. I've taken Elvis, my corgi, to groomers in NYC his entire life and never had any issues. We just moved to the Livingston area and wanted to check out some groomers in the area. Well Bred looked like it was very highly reviewed so we chose to try them first. They told me they don't crate the dogs and would let me know fifteen minutes before he was ready to come pick him up which I thought was perfect because we live five minutes away. Two red flags immediately were that 1) scheduling was super easy -- I was able to get a Saturday appointment a few days in adva

Leslie was so friendly and informative. I have a new pet and she was so helpful! She gave me a sample too and my cat loved it! I highly recommend this store. I will definitely return.
