These guys are terrible! Why are they always yelling at people? They never do their jobs and why does it smell like animals are rotting in their. I understand they feces and pee, but smelling like roadkill is new. They never answer their phones, and they look for any reason to turn you away. Go to the Humane Society of Utah, they are so much better. Furthermore, they give mixed messages and don't even know what they're website says. They're website says before you bring in a stray cat, take them to your local Vet and have they're chip checked if they have one. I went to the shelter to adopt a cat that looked injured, and the lady at the front desk with glasses was rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing, and said, “The cat is not for adoption, PERIOD.” I get that some days are tougher than others, but if you work in customer service, you need to leave the attitude at the door and actually try to be helpful. I wasn’t rude or anything, but it honestly felt like she hates her job. I really hope management can address this so visitors feel respected and supported. I love what the shelter does, and I just want the staff to reflect that—especially when an animal’s well-being is involved.

I hate to be give bad reviews but unfortunately my experience today at the animal shelter was a one-star experience. I hope shelter management can utilize my review to improve its customers' experience. I arrived at the shelter around 4:10. I needed to pay my dog's annual license renewal fee. After five minutes, I could tell the line was moving exceedingly slow. At 4:15, I began to time how long it would take me to get to the front of the line. When I entered, there were four or five customers in front of me. The customer at the front of the line was adopting a cat. Apparently, adoption is a procedure that takes a long time, e.g., 20+ minutes. There was only one customer service representative assisting customers. This is UNACCEPTABLE for the amount of customers that were waiting in li

This time it was great to see there's only two cats the empty Kennels. I hope it can stay that way but unfortunately it won't they have quite a few dogs that need adoption. I like that you can interact with the animals take the dogs out on a leash and there's a room for you to take your soon to be adopted baby into a room by yourself to get some one-on-one time with your baby.
