Wayzata Pet Hospital

We have to euthanize our dog Ike, a 12 yr old Black Labrador Retriever. The staff that took care of Ike were exceptional. Mary at the check-in desk and Dr. Hunter were very thoughtful.

There is so much compassion and love here. We’ve been patients for 25+ years. 3 dogs and a cat. I wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else. Ever.

Dr. Sven has been excellent so far! I came on recommendation after moving to the west side of the metro, great staff including the vet techs and receptionists. I’m pretty particular about my vets especially with my dogs doing dog sports and being semi knowledgeable myself with keeping an eye on what’s unusual for my dogs. I can usually get squeezed in relatively fast if necessary and Dr. Sven is very knowledgeable and great at translating his thoughts and how to move forward with me. I definitely look forward to continuing my pets’ care under Dr. Sven and his team vs other places I’ve been in the metro!

We recently made the switch to Wayzata Pet Hospital after getting a new puppy. We had our first wellness exam and visit this week. Dr. Sven and his team took great care of our puppy, Romeo and answered all our questions, and listened to our concerns. We are very happy to have found this place!

We have been so thankful for Dr. Sven and the team at Wayzata Pet Hospital. Not only was he their care excellent at routine checkups, but also throughout a challenging diagnosis for our cat and the hard decision of having to put her to sleep. They were comforting, understanding, and helped us understand the process clearly. When we inevitably get another cat, we look forward to coming back to Wayzata Pet Hospital. We are so grateful for their service!
