Watermill Pet Wash - S. Boulder Road, Louisville

Hands down one of the best dog wash places in town! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was. The space felt fresh, thoughtfully designed. The stations were easy to use, the water temperature was perfect, and there was zero mess or lingering odor, which made the whole experience stress-free for both me and my dog. You can tell this business truly prioritizes cleanliness, quality, and comfort. Highly recommend!

Not worth the money. Small stations, big dogs are uncomfortable. $15 for 10 minutes which was barely enought time to fully wash rinse and condition. Then they include the use of the blowdrier in that time. Of course you can pay more to stay longer... They dont even have any brushes to use to groom. Other places have $20 for a half hour with options for shampoos aswell as grooming supplies. Ane they give you a plastic bib...aw cheap as possible. Towels dont absorb water ay all.

Had trouble getting the machine to start, and recognize selection, and I ended up having to switching to a different bay to see if I could get that one to work. Also had trouble at the new bay but finally got it to recognize my selection and start. (Probably me just learning how the machine works.) Sudsy water came out right away but it was ICE COLD and my dog was freaking out at how cold it was. The glacier-cold water continued for a while! I finally decided to go to the Rinse setting and get my dog out of there as soon as possible, because it seemed like the water wasn't getting any better and the time (10 minutes) is so limited. During rinsing I could feel the water warming up slightly. There is no staff manning the facility so I couldn't ask about the issue at that moment. Anyway,

Sooo convenient to wash my dog and my car in one place!! Clean facilities and very easy to use - everything you need in one bay. Really reasonably priced, but I signed up for the membership since I already clean my car out every week.

overall, good experience with my dog. I loved the fenced in washing bays. having plastic aprons was great. The bays were good sized. My dog is 90 pounds and he fit no problem. But you definitely could not wash a Newfoundland or St. Bernard in there. Plenty of good clean towels. Facility was very clean. It took a couple minutes to get the credit card based payment to go through but no big deal. The only issues I had was that the water was ice cold for the first five minutes of the wash and when the clock is ticking that’s not great. My dog was shivering. And the other thing was, there was no evidence of any kind of shampoo coming out of the sprayer. No foaming no bubbles no fragrance or anything. So I’m not sure there was any actual shampoo.
