I cannot stress how unsafe this vet is. While visiting my sister my cat had an emergency and Dr Carpenter was dismissive and unconcerned at the cats plight and my anxiety. Took my cat to an emergency vet in OKC and xrays showed he had swallowed a piece of foil. Dr Carpenter has no current knowledge, no modern equipment (the place looks like a horror movie set), no concern for the animals in his care, or the customers that come to him. My sister had left her elderly cat in his care when visiting me and Dr Carpenter did not even care that the cat did not eat for 5 days. The cat was severely dehydrated and ill with a high temperature when my sister picked him up, and despite being taken to another vet immediately, died as a result of the lack of care while in Dr Carpenters hands. This doctor has been around for years and is a staple of our community. He has saved so many of my babies. He is the go to for a lot of people and this community is more than thankful to have him.
