Wappingers Animal Hospital

I switched to Wappingers animal hospital a few years back for all of my veterinary needs. The staff is Wonderful. They are very knowledgeable, kind, respectful and understanding. I have had to put down a few pets sense the switch and they go above and beyond. It is easy to get an appointment, the facility is clean even when ur pet has an accident on the floor on your way out while ur hands are full. They are so hopeful.

Reception ia absolutely lovely. The team is gentle. The issue I have had is last time I was there, they asked if I would like to do bloodwork for my cat as he came in for a sick visit. I said yes. They made an attempt to do it, but said my cat was not happy and they should try again another day. That was surprising they would give up since I think any cat would meow and not be happy with a needle. I wish they would then waive the next visit fee (I believe $75) ao that I can come back and just pay for the service that they did not complete last time (bloodwork). Otherwise it makes me feel like they just wanted me to come back again just to pay an additional visit fee. Instead of do everything we agreed upon as we were already there. My pups always receive the best care from Dr. Gonzalez and the staff at Wappingers Animal Hospital! Whether we are there for a scheduled appointment or they squeeze us in for an unexpected injury, they are always kind and compassionate. So happy they care for my pups!

Wappingers Animal Hospital has taken care of my family's animals for over 30 years. They are wonderful and compassionate and helpful; they care about their clients and their animals. Wappingers is lucky to have a vet this good. It's a special place with special people and if you need a vet they are the best choice you could make.

They helped my friend's dog in a very serious emergency situation. It was an urgent situation and they handled it professionally and with compassion. They took their time to make sure the patient and the owner were comfortable well taken care of. Very impressive@
