Walters Kennels

Devin provided exceptional dog training for our Labrador Retriever when he was a young pup and now is our dog’s favorite friend to visit when we travel out of town. We cannot say enough about how great Walters Kennel is.

Devin did a fantastic job training our well bred lab pup. He does a great job understanding early in the discipline process on what the dog needs, and most importantly what they’re capable of. Once he got my dog in the field, Devin truly developed our dog to being “hunting ready”. Devin handles the dogs really well, and is always available to answer questions and provide great service. This is the 2nd dog I’ve had trained here, and have no problems offering my recommendation.

As state above, Devin is a top notch trainer and willing to help in any way. Our Roxie is half lab & Jack Russell terroir full of high energy. After obedience school, she is such a treat to walk the town streets without a lease. Roxie responds to commands from my family members well. Devin has such a gentle way in handling his training. He’s very good & patient with dog owners as well! We will be sending Roxie to water fowl training soon but she has already been worked “live”. On a side note, we board her and Roxie has no problems in staying behind and is well cared. She loves Devin and it shows when we arrive. We have highly recommended friends to take their dogs to Walter’s Kennels.

Excellent obedience and gun dog training. I have been a customer here for almost 20 years and have no complaints. Walters Kennels has been in business for almost 90 years. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Devin, the owner, is absolutely awesome!! I will take all my "future" hunting dogs to him, based on his work with my last lab pup!!! He delivers and if your dog just "won't get it", he will not waste 3 months of time or your money, and will tell you your dog just does not have what it takes to become a great hunting dog!! He has trained dogs fully, that other trainers could not get to work, properly!! Highly recommend!! All my future dogs will be going to Walters Kennels!!
