Dr.s Peirik and Bush took excellent care of my mare during her almost two week long stay after a laceration and partial hoof avulsion. They worked with me to make the stay as economical as possible as well as maintain my nervous horse’s comfort—even allowing me to bring her emotional support donkey to keep her company. They adapted as things did or did not work to get the best combination of care along with keeping her quiet and happy. Follow up communication has been great with excellent support. We have used Waller Equine Vet for several barn calls since we live nearby, but unfortunately our experiences were not positive. The first time we called them out was for our 17-year-old horse that had eye drainage. They performed one test but struggled to use the equipment and ultimately said they could not determine the issue. Later, we had a 22-year-old horse that was declining and we were considering humane euthanasia. We asked Waller Equine to evaluate her to help us make the right decision. We were told they think it’s time but would like to perform they could not give an opinion without additional testing that would cost around $5,000. I appreciate all the guidance these last nine years with my senior rescue horses, Killian and Raiha. Dr. Bush made several farm calls to help with their care. Dr. Price made the final call that enabled me to see that their pain was no longer bearable for them. I appreciate talking with Morgan in the front office about the choices for me to take with their end of life services. They came in their biodegradable urn and will rest in their pasture again. A surprise to me was the receipt of their braided tail. Thank ya'll so much!

I have been using Waller Equine since I moved to Texas over 3 years ago. They have been excellent. I usually have Dr. Bush and she has been wonderful not only with my horse, but also in explaining things to me and always keeping me informed on how things are going. Also the staff are wonderful, especially Morgan. Couldn't ask for a better practice to take care of my horse. All of their Vets are wonderful and you can't go wrong with any one of them. Easy to unload here also.

My horse was hospitalized with multiple lacerations after we fell on a concrete surface. She required surgery, and very extensive after-care. Dr. Whyard did the surgery, dr. Russell - an AWESOME intern -was in charge of the daily care, and dr. Bush took over the supervising vet’s role. All three did an excellent job informing me of the risks and possible outcomes.
