WAGS Charlestown

WAGS is the best for my rescue dogs. They both are pretty skittish with new people but they always are excited to go for their WAGS visits. The staff there always treats them as if they are their own dogs. The groomers at WAGS are very knowledgeable and are clearly very well trained with dogs in all shapes and sizes, I have a 7lb cavapoo and a 60lb doberman mix. They especially love the treats they receive during their spa days. I cannot recommend them enough. 10/10!!!! Thanks for being the best WAGS!

We had heard a lot of good things about WAGS. We kept trying since 2024 and only ended up getting an appointment for our baby Shih Tzu in May 2025. We had heard they do a good job with top knots and our fur baby has one which is another reason we wanted to try WAGS out. We provided clear information about the length of the hair, time of last grooming, our specifications at the time of appointment booking . We ended up getting booked for an appointment for only 1 hour, also the last appointment of their day. This was confusing to us since our previous pet groomers would usually least book 2-3 hours. Nevertheless, we trusted their judgement and dropped off our baby almost at the scheduled time (~1-2 minutes late). We were told to pick up our baby in roughly 45-50 minutes since they will clos

I regularly take my dog here for grooming and won't take him anywhere else. They always do a great job and are so good with my pup, who is not a big fan of haircuts or nail trims. The one time I noticed his cut was a little uneven (probably from him squirming too much) they fixed it right on the spot. The only criticism I have is that it can be a little tough to get an appointment since they're pretty busy so expect to book it out a ways.

Awful experience today when I went to get my dogs nails trimmed. After about 3 minutes of trying to trim her nails, I thought they were done and they told me they did 1 paw and we would not be welcome back because my 17 pound rescue dog was too nervous. She is not aggressive and has never bitten anyone nor did she today. I would think a dog salon would have people there who know how to handle a skittish dog. We may not be welcome back but I would not go for free. Would not recommend this place.

I just moved to Charlestown 2 months ago and have been looking for a new grooming spot for my short haired Chihuahua. This is my experience! I called to ask if they do walk ins—my baby was sick for two weeks so I needed something today! They do walk in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Call 2 hours before! This already made me happy because I always have things coming up and can’t always make it to appointments. Charlestown is a very walkable area. It was decent weather so I decided to take a 20 min walk to the address, and let me tell you it was a very pleasant walk there. Lots of shops and food options.
