Decent little shop, but lacks a lot of basic essentials. I think the community would prefer a place to buy normal dog food and essentials instead of dog beer. Also, the storefront is never open. Out of the 10+ times I've shown up (during your posted open hours) you've only been open 3 times. I can almost guarantee that if you got rid of most of the dog nail polish or dog beer and replaces it with just normal essentials your business would explode and maybe then you could be open when you say you're open. Lansing needs a general pet store not a posh place. Or have some of both. If I need something for my dogs locally 99% of the time I get it at the grocery store or Simply Blessed because they have a better selection. There is a balance you need to find between helping locals and the tourist

I went into this store loving and trying to help support local businesses. spent 30 bucks on toys, treats and a bowtie for my yorki. one of the toys I got was described by the employee as an indestructible toy but being realistic and understanding nothing is indestructible. well 2 days later it's ripped. I try to take it back but the place is never open, so I call and leave a voice-mail I get no response finally a week and a half later I pass by as they are open I go to exchange the toy and I'm told no we have a 5 day return policy and the owner listened to the voice-mail and had an employee listen to it and because the tag didn't say indestructible no return. I have a 5 lb yorki and your toy lasted a day. needless to say I won't be back Amazon is cheaper,better quality and more variety I
